Biography

Born in Rome, Eleonora Savini graduated with highest honours from the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in 2008, later obtaining a Master of Arts in Violin Performance from the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana (Lugano) under the guidance of Maestro Carlo Chiarappa. In 2016, she graduated from the two-year program at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, specializing in violin studies under the guidance of Maestro Marco Fiorini. She has also further studied baroque violin technique under the guidance of Maestro Enrico Onofri.

 

In 2013, she attended the prestigious Aurora Master Class in Sweden and participated twice in the Lucerne Festival Academy in Switzerland. In addition to numerous orchestral, chamber and soloist activities, in 2014 she began to specialize in Musical Theatre for young audiences aged 0 to 12. The great success of her debut show "Heroïca", a Lucerne Festival production and winner of the "Junge Ohren Preis 2014", launched her career throughout Europe. This was followed by "Goldmädchen" ("Filodoro" in Italy), "Domande" (co-production Teatro Dimitri of Verscio and Lucerne Festival), and over one hundred performances in the most important European concert halls (including Unione Musicale Torino, Grand Théatre Luxembourg, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Kölner Philharmonie, Wiener Konzerthaus, KKL Luzern, Pierre Boulez Saal Berlin). She participated as an actress, singer, violinist and arranger in the show "Senegalliarde" (Lucerne Festival 2018) and is project manager, arranger and performer in "Pizz'n'Zip" (Lucerne Festival 2019). In collaboration with the Compagnia Teatro Daruma, she is an actress, musician and musical director for the show "Voci di Notte" (première October 2019, Teatro Dimitri). She is also musical director, singer, violinist and performer in "Forêsta", a staged tale for very young children (0 to 3 years old) produced by Philharmonie Luxembourg (première October 2019), "Monna Violina", produced by Lucerne Festival in 2021, and "DiVerdiamoci!" for Società dei Concerti di Parma (première in October 2023), "D' Prinzessin op der Ierbes" (Escher Theater production and Prabbeli Wiltz co-production, June 2023), "BarkaBach" (Brucknerhaus Linz and Jeunesse Wien production, April 2024).

Since 2020 Eleonora is creator, director, editor, performer, arranger and musician in the 6 episodes spin- off online serie "Pizz'n Bits", for Lucerne Festival "Connected- Young Digital" site, as well as in the Unione Musicale Kids' online productions "Pizz'n'Click!" (2021), "Pizz'n'Click e le Note del Tempo" (2022), "Pizz'n'Click A Tempo di Fiaba" (2023). "Le Note del Tempo" and "A Tempo di Fiaba" also have their live version, (premieres in May 2022 and December 2023) in Teatro Vittoria in Turin.

She collaborated with Musica - Impulscentrum Voor Musiek of Neerpelt (Belgium) and participated in the development of the Atelier "Babelut Parcours" (April 2017), joining a team of experts in developing an approach to music for children from 0 to 3 years old. She has experience teaching violin to children 6 years of age and older and has conducted workshops teaching an approach to music in Italian, Swiss, Belgian and Luxembourg nursery schools. She currently teaches violin at the Centro Goitre in Turin and teaches music at various primary schools in the Piedmontese capital, in collaboration with Centro Goitre and Insonora.

She has been invited to present her interactive pedagogical videos for kids to the italian national webinar "La Musica unisce la Scuola" in May 2021 and collaborated with the online platforms Agidae Opera and Agorà del Sapere, giving music lessons and workshops to several nursery and primary schools connected from all over Italy.
